Oriental Style Pergolas

Our Pergolas are made from scratch by hand using fully pressure treated timber. This provides a rot resistant structure lasting 10+ years. We've made 450+ pergolas to date, so you could safely assume we've got it locked down to a fine art.

Materials, from the ground up;

We use epoxy brown steel bolt down boxes to secure the legs to patio or decking, solutions are also available for securing to soft ground.

For legs we use 10x10cm posts, these can be rough sawn as standard or smooth planed with chamfered edges.

For lintels we use 145x45mm joists, also known as 6x2". For any span over 3m we double these up at each side.

For top joists we also use 6x2".

Diagonals & noggins are made from 4x2".

Throughout the structure all timbers are secured together using stainless steel bolts where possible, and steel sleeper fixings everywhere else.

Polycarbonate roofs are an optional extra, however these do dictate the sizes our pergolas come in as the material. can't be cut, they come in 2.5m, 3m & 4m lengths.
